The Dennis Barber Bake Off Begins!

After the addition of Landan and Louisa to the DB digital team, it became apparent that food and cooking is often the subject of conversation! Luke, Landan and Louisa have all been sharing their tempting homemade treats with the office. Because of this the idea of a competition was formed and as a thanks for sharing the baked bites, the rest of the DB ltd team have offered to put some money together and provide a prize for the bake off.

Once a week for the next three weeks someone will bring in a favourite homemade delight. Everyone will have the chance to taste and mark the snack (anonymously of course). Then after the three keen cooks have been judged, the scores will be tallied and a winner will be chosen.

First up... Louisa! With Greek heritage and interest in Japanese food and culture will make for an interesting blend.

This week was Louisas turn to cook for the bake off. She decided to go for a savory treat. Her cheese and onion muffins were a hit in the db office with smiles all round.

Everyone has put in their scores to Ben, all he will say for now is that it's going to be close. What will we have next week?

This week was Landans turn to cook. He made some super chocolatey brownies, everyone enjoyed them and have cast their votes!

This week was Lukes turn to bake something. Luke brought in some amazimg mini mud pies! Everyone loved these delicous treats.

Dennis Barber Ltd expand their Digital team!!!

With the demand in Digital work ever growing we have now invested in an additional Graphic Designer and an Illustrator.

Louisa was a Design Student studying Fashion and Textiles at the University Campus Suffolk and also has her own fashion brand. Louisa was working as a freelance Graphic Designer, but was keen to work in a professional corporate company. We were completely taken back by Louisa’s portfolio and attention to detail. We are very excited to have Louisa on board with us and she will play a massive part in taking DB Ltd to where we want to be.

Landan is a Graphic Designer who also has experience in web development and smartphone applications. These are assets that are key to our Digital team and having previously worked closely with our Development manager, Luke, this bodes well with working on current projects we are producing. Landan has worked on large corporate projects, including artwork for the ‘X-factor’.
